We go to great lengths to protect your privacy. All of the information received is secure, and all transactions are processed on a secure server, which encrypts all of the data that is sent and received.

We have a strict policy against sharing your email address or any personal information with third parties. Your information will only be used for order verification, fraud control or internal purposes only. For more details on our privacy policy, click here.
Shipping Fees:
We gladly ship all frames ordered from the SALT. Shop via Federal Express ground free of charge. For expedited service, we calculate your shipping fees according to our negotiated rates with Federal Express.
Order Confirmation:
Once your order has been placed, you will be sent an email confirming that your order has been received and is in our system, along with an order confirmation number for your reference.
Order Shipment:
Orders placed on regular business days will be shipped within 24 hours. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will ship on the next business day. You will receive an e-mail confirmation once your order has shipped.
When your order has been shipped:
We will send you an email confirmation once your order has been shipped, which will include a tracking number and a link to Federal Express for you to track it online.
Do you ship outside of the United States?
At this time, we only ship to the domestic United States.
PO boxes and APO/FPO addresses:
We do not currently ship to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses for security reasons.
Will an invoice be included in my shipment? What if I’m sending it as a gift?
Your shipment will include a packing slip, outlining the products ordered, but no prices are included on this packing slip. Your order confirmation email will serve as your receipt and will include the final amount charged to your method of payment.
Credit card billing:
Your credit card will not be charged until the date your order is shipped. Upon entering your credit card information and completing your order on the salt. shop, you will be given an order confirmation number. We will also send you a follow up email confirming that your order has been received, which includes the order confirmation number, and a final email to notify you when your order has shipped.
Becoming a registered user:
Part of the SALT. Shop checkout process requires you to become a registered user. This is done by entering an email address and creating a password. By becoming a registered user, you can expedite the checkout process on all future orders by saving your personal information, as well as your credit card info (if you elect to). All user accounts are protected by ssl-based security and are subject to our privacy policy.
To track your shipment:
Once your order is shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email, that email will include a tracking number for fedex.com. Following the link to fedex.com, you will be presented with an estimated date of receipt.
To change or cancel an order:
To change or cancel an order, please click here or call customer service as soon as possible at 888.702.7258. We will do our very best to help you, provided that your order hasn’t shipped already. If so, there will be a shipping label included with your order which will allow you to return your order free of charge.
Order verification:
If for any reason we find information regarding your order to be incomplete, we will call or email you to verify your information.
In some cases, your order may contain items that are no longer in stock. We do our best to ensure that the website reflects what we have available, but this is not always possible. In the event that this occurs, we will contact you and let you know when your desired product will be back in stock. Alternatively, you can exchange your order for a different frame, or receive a refund.

We gladly accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
Sales tax:
Sales tax is only charged for orders shipped within the state of California.
Secure ordering:
Yes. Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption is used for every transaction in order to ensure that your order is secure. SSL encrypts the transmissions from our ecommerce servers as well as your computer. SSL encryption works by forming a matched pair with the transmission from your computer transmission and our server, so that only data to and from these sources can be valid.
Return/exchange policy:
We want you to be happy with your frames. you can return your unworn, undamaged product to us, free of charge, within 7 days of the date you received the package for a full credit to your original method of payment. Your order includes a pre-populated return shipping voucher. Re-pack your order, use the shipping voucher as indicated, and take to your nearest fedex provider for shipment. you will not be charged for return shipping.
Returns or exchanges are permitted provided:
* The product has not been worn
* The product is returned in its entirety including the frame, case and cleaning cloth
* The product is not damaged in any way
* The product is returned in its original packaging
If for any reason the wrong product was shipped to you, or if the item is defective, we will refund any shipping charges that you may have incurred. If you received a damaged item, please contact us within 7 days of the date your package was delivered. We cannot accept damage claims after 7 days of receiving your package.
Frames that were not purchased on our website will not be accepted under any circumstances. Therefore it is important to register your frames warranty so we know they were purchased at the SALT. Shop.
SALT. Optics reserves the right to final approval on all returns and exchanges.
Note that expedited shipping charges will not be refunded.
Exchange-specific policy details:
If you’d like to exchange your frames, the first return shipment from you to us is free of charge. We’ll also ship you your exchanged frames free of charge. If you need to make a further exchange, you will be responsible for shipping fees.

Return/exchange shipping instructions:
Pack up your order using the same packaging that it shipped in, and make sure to fill out the included return information form. Should you elect to pay for expedited service, we strongly suggest that you ship your return/exchange with a carrier who will provide you with a tracking number for your package to ensure delivery. We do not accept COD, all deliveries must be prepaid.
Refund policy:
Returns/exchanges will be processed within 3-5 business days upon being received. For refunds, a credit will be issued to the original form of payment provided. You will be notified via email to the email address listed on your order when the funds have been credited back. Note that it may take up to a few weeks to appear as a credit on your statement.
Warranty/product registration:
SALT. gladly extends a one year warranty from the date of purchase on all eyewear. We are happy to repair or replace, upon our inspection, any factory defect, provided any damage cannot be attributed to normal wear and tear. Accidental breakage or scratched lenses is not covered by warranty, but we are happy to service such repairs for a standard fee. Note that ground shipping cost will be included in the charge. Please allow for up to ten business days for all repairs.
Warranty Requirements:
* Original sales receipt or proof of purchase including the date and retailer information.
* An explanation of the frame defect or how the frame was damaged.
* Your full contact details including the following: name, address, telephone number, as well as your email address.
* Proper return address
* Shipping paid in full. We do not accept returns on COD.
