[ PFV ] Prism Free Vision Lens Technology is used in every pair of SALT. sunglasses resulting in better contrast, clarity, and eye comfort.

Unless prescribed by a doctor, prism is a visual nightmare. Prism is the result of the optical centers of lenses being cut and placed somewhere other than over the pupil. It causes a pulling effect on the eye and results in mind bending distortion.

SALT. provides the following coatings on all [ PFV ] Lenses:

  • Hydrophobic - makes lenses more smudge resistant and easier to clean
  • Anti-reflective - eliminates bounce back glare and relieves eye strain
  • Anti-scratch - durability to extend the life of all [ PFV ] cr-39 lenses

[ PFV ] Lens Colors:

  • Grey – reduces the maximum amount of visible light and allows for true color recognition. Good for bright sunny days and heavy glare situations. Best for everyday use.
  • Brown – improves visual acuity and depth perception while providing amazing contrast. Reduces blue light and is preferred in highly sunny and varying conditions.
  • G-15 – grey-green lens similar to the color sensitivity of the human eye. This results in natural vision and true colors that are smooth on the eye. The grey-green lens greatly reduces light transmissions.
  • Rose – Named after our designer with a flowery last name, this lens is very happy on the eyes! This red vibrant color offers the highest contrast level and is great for a vintage twist in bright sunny conditions.
  • Navel – our polarized orange lenses reduce glare and provide increased contrast and blocks blue light. Look good with a unique sense of style in overcast or partly cloudy conditions.
  • Pink - our polarized pink lenses reduce glare and provide increased contrast in medium to bright conditions. The best of PFV features in an amazingly fashionable color palette.
